“O Self-effulgent Light that has given birth to all the lokas (spheres or levels of consciousness), who is worthy of worship and appears through the orbit of the Sun, illumine our intellect.”

“Om Earth, Atmosphere, Heaven: We meditate upon the supreme effulgence of the Divine solar Creator, that He may direct our minds.”

“Om, in all realms of being, the light of the sun, the supreme light, we meditate on that divine light. May the light of consciousness illumine our meditation.”

Use this mantra to illuminate your intellect. Saying the Gayatri mantra automatically supports dharma in the world as well as your individual svadharma, which refers to the law of your own being or nature. As this mantra is chanted over time, spiritual light is drawn into each cakra, starting at the base of the spine. Correspondingly, our ability to comprehend the essence of each of the realms grows. In meditation, travel of consciousness to the higher realms becomes possible as new faculties of consciousness grow from our practice.

You can also use this mantra to help balance a spiritual relationship.
